How it works

To use our fleet of trailers, you simply have to follow these 3 easy steps:

      1. Go to one of our pick-up points with your own bike.
      2. Find the reception and scan their QR code using our app to confirm you received the keys.
      3. Unlock the trailer and attach it to your bike - no tools required!

You are now ready to roll!

To return the trailer, simply take it back to the same pick-up point within 24 hours and do the same steps in reverse.

About Us

Two Germans, a Belgian, a Frenchman and a Swede.

We might seem like the beginning of a very funny joke, but in reality, we are five Uppsala University students with different backgrounds and expertise: sustainability, language technology, product design, film and urban planning.

We had all experienced the same problem of moving things around the city without a car, and decided to do something about it. As such, PELI PELI was born, to provide easier and more sustainable transportation options for Uppsala students.

Availability

We have created a fleet of bike trailers, easily attachable to the back of your own bike, stationed at different pick-up points around Uppsala. These pick-up points are at various stores and University buildings, with the cash desk or reception handling the handout and return of keys.

The trailers are available to borrow for 24h, free of charge for any Uppsala University student needing to transport shopping, furniture or anything bigger than what can fit on their own bike rack. You are able to use your own bike and, within a few seconds, transform it to carry up to 10 times its usual load!
